Is anyone else watching this ?

I have never seen such heart wrenching TV in my life.

While I have always had respect and admiration for our Armed Forces, it has just doubled at the very least.

The positive attitude of the lad from 2 Para was just inspirational despite having lost 2 legs and an arm but he still met his goal of walking on prosthetic legs to collect his campaign medal.

Well done lads. :)

All this does is make me think those wars are even more pointless.

I think the guy at the beginning would rather have his arm and legs back than our admiration.

No doubt he would but I was still profoundly moved by what I saw.

The moment his injuries were captured on camera on the frontline and the creek stained red is not something I would forget in a hurry.

x2.

My primary reflection was that it's such a senseless waste of time and life what they're doing, and the horrific injuries sustained are all avoidable.

Not doubting their bravery, skill, and commitment; but for what, really?

Was an amazing watch.

A lot of times you hear about these things and you can't think much of it as you never do until it directly effects you. But watching that made me pretty emotional because I respected them so much. Both of them were strong and kept a good spirit and it makes you understand the mentality of these people who chose to go to war.

Well done to them all.
