WoW 1.10 changes

Well 5 Man groups are certainly gonna be a challenge but it's not impossible, I did Scarlet Strat 5 man with a PUG before (I only had blues and even greens at the time) as long as people do what they are suppose to, there shouldn't be any problem. Only people who will get alienated are the poor players who don't know how to really play their class or go half AFK during raids. If anything this should get people to try harder and improve the way they play. Also nice to see another little warrior nerf in there as usual but I'm used to that now.

All you guys saying that you can 5man strat/scholo/LBRS in an hour or so, are you doing this in your tier0 set? I mean, if you have MC parts or even some of the good stuff from ZG then ofc it's going to easier.

Point I'm making is Strat/scholo and lbrs are (were) the only instances a casual player could do (ZG maybe, but generally only in a pug) and now being made to do them in 5man, they are just gonna struggle with time and it'll take all the fun out of it for them.

I done some 5 man instances back when I had blues and greens with my guildies, as long as you have a good class balance and everyone knows their role you should have no problem. It might take more than an hour to do it but hey epics and blues suppose to take effort. At the moment most Strat/Scholo raids take barely any effort at all. I'm not saying the cap reducation was a terribly good idea I'm just trying to say this whole thing isn't as disastrous as people make it out to be, casual gamers aren't gonna get totally alienated and the system may even filter out the bad players out the game who'll have difficulty finding group and may even start putting some effort into the way they play.

Just to clarify, the strat 45 minutes thing is from the 2nd gate* (I'm not quite sure which gate they mean though! - I'm assuming it's the ones before the Baron)

EDIT:*So I believe

Cant say im too happy about the instance changes. It may be time to drop this game. A 10 man uBRS is going to be a nightmare. If your a hunter forget going to any instance because you'll be competing agianst all the other over populated hunters. Might be time to roll a priest or a warrior all other classes will be secondary. This has been very badly thought out imo.

And another thought how is anyone <60 going to get in a group other than maybe BRD.

The problem is not that these 5 man runs are harder, lets face it, most of us have done them 5 man in the past when we had to. Its the fact that its going to take a lot longer and getting groups will be even harder.

To 5 man you will need a priest and warrior leaving the last 3 places open for all the other classes to fight it out. For Baron you will probably take a mage as well thus leaving just 2 other places. If your none of these classes, have fun waiting around for hours trying to get a group!

Also, set drops are so rare you have to repeat each instance probably 10 times atleast before you get your drops. Thats a lot of time spent wasted now if all your groups are 5 man only. An extremely bad move by blizzard thus making an even larger divide between the casual player and the people who live WoW.

I stopped playing WoW about a year ago, when it got a bit boring and I realised that as a human priest I was pretty much shafted.

Those changes are immense though! Almost enough to convince me to return to playing it. The Feedback change especially...mmmm.

If you don't want to play an over populated class don't roll a warrior.

I tried to get my tier 0 stuff when i was playing got 4/8 bits of it. Done 3/4 mc runs and seen 7/8 tier 1 drops for my class. You would think tier 0 would drop quicker wouldnt you :(

Are you referring to human's lack of Fear ward or just priest talents in general? (I am horde currently so don't know how much of an impact Fear ward makes, but I know for a few fights it would be pretty nice)
