no as it's just a click game, if you like click games then it's ok.

when will fps mmo's be released. Come on huxley.

That, and monthly subscription is the only thing holding me back from MMO's.
I don't like feeling pressure of having to play the game, rather than at my own leisure. Escpecially as none of the MMO's atm are extremely captivating.

:)

It's an easy PvE game. As you can see, people level up and hit the cap easy. It requires no skill. Why do I call it PvE when there are PvP servers? I wouldn't call a game PvP unless when you kill an enemy it affects some form of the environment around you. E.g. Your helping towards securing a position that other people in your race can use.

In WoW you have to join an area if you want this kind of action. It's more like a paintball game compared to other PvP games which are like real wars.
You can randomly go up to the opposite race and kill them but all you get are things called "Honor Points", which are exactly that... points. Later on they unlock some new armour but that's about it.

It's also repetitive. They add a new instance now and then but basically you'll find yourself teaming up with other players to kill a computer controlled mob that you've killed 4 times in the last week. It doesn't really change.

As you can tell... I'm a FPS fan ;) Go Counter-Strike :D

Why do u think WAR pvp is gonna be any better

Because its being made by the same people who made DAoC - DAoC's RvR system is hands down the best and most enjoyable pvp system of any mmo i've played. DAoC wasn't without its flaws of course, but hopefully if anything, they will have improved upon their previous system and what made it so popular.

You chirp on about PvP in WoW not gaining you/your race or your faction Anything.

Either im missing something, or CS has changed so much since I last played it that you fragging someone in the eye gains you and your team something ;)

Because the whole world is effectively about realm vs realm pvp... much like DAoC but more focused and a better setting :)

The difference is that CS requires more skill than WoW and things change every round, the money you have, the way you can go, the players your against - because the players are real and not bots like in WoW.

You have a world reward system in a game where it's < 20 vs 20.

It's hard to describe :P

No mention of a release date on webzens site only that the official huxley website will be up in Q3 07 but the company who has bought the asian publishing/server/subs rights seem to think they are getting it Q4.

And OP yes you should try wow if you've not tried it yet, great pve raiding game, rubbish pvp - not my cup o tea anyway.

Don't bother getting it, the new expansion pack killed it.

End Game instances before the expansion were far superior and fun.

You've obviously not tried Karazhan? It's by far and away the best and most fun instance i've been to yet. :)

Bleh, the trash in Karazhan ruins it for me. 2 million* trash mobs between Curator and Aran? That'll do nicely!

* - numbers may not be accurate and may be used for artistic effect :D

Played them both and saying CS requires more skill than WoW pvp is just wrong imo. Theres no BoTs in WoW arena or battlegrounds apart from a few in AV. You also have to adjust to a far wider range of tactics depending on the make up of the group of characters your facing. One mistake can cost your team the match.

Trash is the annoying thing in all dungeons yeah, but the bosses in kara rock :)

2 year old wow player. Played from open beta till now. The Expansion is pure tripe imo. All good things must come to a end i guess.

Is it true that with this new LOTR game you have to pay a subscription fee to play the damn thing? So you buy the game, then you are charged again to play it? Ripp off surely?

Do you have to pay a subscription fee for WoW too?
