wow crap customer service

for the last 2 nights ive tried to contact wow customer services to sort out my account.., both times im told by automated voice that they have lots of calls please try again later.. what the hell!
 
I know it's a pain when you are left waiting by customer services, but it will make it more enjoyable when you finally get it sorted.

A little time off won't hurt.
 
Use the website and webnote them. I did when i locked my account (ipod crashed and was using authenticator app) They were quick to respond, and asked for the revelant info and all was sorted within 2 days.
 
Blizzard euro support is based in france and as such god help you if you need any help at the weekend, or outside of 9 to 5 mon friday :p

The support system is famous for being slow and useless. I guess the simple fact is that with the sheer number of calls and people needing help no matter how many staff you hired ( within reason ) there would still be queues and waiting.

The one and only thing that i get annoyed at is the apparent lack of support outside of office hours and at weekends. With the income blizzard get from the game the staff should be working in shifts and availiable 24/7 no excuses. Smaller and less profitable companies manage it just fine.

There is some who say the reason they cannot get the support right is due to the odd and very rigid working laws in france, i dont know if this is true however.
