WOW Druid question

I am currently using a staff, is this the best weapon to stick with?

You don't use weapons as a Druid, you should be using Bear Form until Level 20, then Cat Form 20-70.

Only equip a weapon for the stats.

The Stats you need are Agi and Strenth mainly too. Using Melee attacks in cat form. Caster/Moonkin isn't that good until your higher levels. and well Resto is resto for leveling...

I assume your going feral and are fighting as bear at the moment, and going cat at 20? Then the damage from the weapon doesn't affect you at all. All you need is good stats on it - so str for 2 attack power / agil or 1 attack power and crit&dodge / stam for health.

Obv if your staying in caster form then you need to stack intel and spirit and do need a decnt dps weapon.

Well a Druid leveling with melee attacks in caster form is going to have a very, very long quest to Level 70.

I loved levelling my feral Druid (I quit and moved server after I hit 60, before TBC) and the most important thing is stats, cos unless you're going RESTO (I hope you have plenty of time to level ), it's all about being a kitty-cat

Hehe - meant only for the earlier levels while you don't have enough mana/regen to keep the spells going
