WoW EU Busy Server

Not sure if it still works, but warcraftrealms.com helps. You can search EU realms and get all kinds of statistics like Alliance to Horde ratio, classes balances, race balances, etc.

Very use little page :)

edit: Try this list I provided:

lol at Balnazzar on that link, 9 Alliance on the server against 9,692 Horde?

Me thinks something's not quite right :p

Think im on Nagrand, seems ok.

Usually a queue to get on though! :o

From that site it seems a lil alliance biased!! :p

:)

I must admit it does not up date much, i think it collects stats from a certain addon use. It gives a 'rough' guide. Personally when looking for a server i want a short battlegrounds que. Unfortunately i like RP and both RP-PVP and RP servers are on bad battleground groups, some nasty long ques.

I'm currently on Outland, theres some high level guild but also some very new ones that are just starting out with lots of low level members, See absolutely loads of people under 40 on atm, including myself on my alt.

The problem I seem to be having is that although lots of people start alts, not many take them up to higher levels (I'm 51 atm).

I'm currently on a recommended server and its a bit dead, thats why I was looking for a better one.

Just join a decent guild, my guild has around 160 players and only about 80 of them are level 70, we always have low level groups going off doing lower instances
And do they spam /2 with "Join Our Guild. We are Very Good and We Have Tabard!" or words to that effect

Im on skullcrusher EU pvp server.

Always busy but high pvp queues for alliance due to being in a awful bg.

Upshot if ** a horde u get instant queues.

Also loads of Uk/European people.

I used to have a char on Skullcrusher and I remember it being quite busy. Might move myself there and see.

Does anyone know how often you can move a char about using the payed character transfer system ?

All the EU PvE realms I've played on (Quel'Thalas, Nagrand and Hellfire) have a fair even Alliance/Horde balance.

I'm currently rolled on Hellfire now (Cassiopeia, 70 NE Rogue) and if anything you are more likely to see Horde characters in Shattrah than Alliance. Areas such as SW and IF are as busy as they always are though.
My experience as a Horde Rogue on Nagrand was that they general level of play and maturity left a lot to be desired (hence why I left), though that may now of changed. Quel'Thalas is a brilliant realm with lots of great people on both Horde and Alliance, but it's a fairly old place now with a very developed community at higher ends which I would imagine will be rather difficult to penetrate.

I'd say your best bet is to look to the newer (TBC launch realms); Nagrand, Hellfire (hello!), Karazhan, Ghostlands, et al

I used to play on Shattered Halls, I was in the Mythic guild 70 Warlock, quit the game a few months back.

Anyway the server was just awful for getting groups, lucky I was in a decent-ish guild.

At least it isnt just me having this problem then! I think I'll transfer my char and see what happens. Can't be much worse than it is now, because if it doesnt get better I'll be quitting this char and probably the game.

Sad thing is that the state of the game now should be called

world of roguecraft or lockcraft.

Such overpowered classes

Warlocks are shockingly overpowered and have been for well over a year. It's so blatantly obvious (a well played one is practically unbeatable by any other class) that I can only imagine it's a deliberate design decision. I can't fathom out why they'd want to do this.

As for Rogues, I'd say that Warriors with the blacksmithing weapons are much more of a menace in group play.

Yeah but thats in group situation where the warrior has a personal healer.

Rogues with the cloak of BEEPNESS can destroy most other classes before they can react 1v1.

cries, my mage feels like a china plate in warcraft, someone touches me and im soon dead.

Wait till you hit the magical place of STV stranglethorn Vale.

Its a killing ground !!!!

I still take my 70 mage there for fun making ppl bring their 70 mains to fight me.

Ahh the amount of times ive been chased all the way to westfall.

Yeah but when you get to 70 you go back there for revenge.

The way i see it the ganking there makes u want to level.

Revenge is a powerful tool in leveling hehe
