WoW = fail

the only people that can actually slate it are people taht have played it.

I used to slate it big time, now i'm a dedicated player!

The other group that slate is just can't afford it :p

I tried the demo, and thought it was a bit crap. So i have played it and declare it crap.
 
I've played it since US beta, and quit recently. It's definitely the most polished MMO out there, the PvE content is pretty decent, the PvP balance is getting better all the time, but the PvP content is just abysmal. So far in BC they've given us 3 seasons of grinding exactly the same content over and over, and I just got sick of that. Those seasons have spanned well over a year, and all they have changed is the rewards, which are the new raid set items, recoloured, with slightly better stats than the previous arena set. Well over a year of grinding the exact same content over and over, I'm just not going to pay for that anymore, it's truly pathetic.

By the time Season 4 has come and gone, it will have been nearly 2 years. TWO YEARS of grinding the exact same content. I just don't understand how Blizzard or any of their customers can think that is acceptable service.

I agree with kittenscake 100% - I've played it since US beta as well, but decided to suspend my account at least until the expansion. Blizzard seem content to throw endless rep grinds at us for equipment that is minor upgrades (if at all) to existing items while ignoring the cries for original content.

I loved WoW and will probably take it up again when the expansion is out, but at the moment, all I can think is that it will be another set of rep grinds with slightly different mobs. But at the moment, the thought of that is keeping me well away from the game.

That said, WoW is easily the best MMO out there and I recommend everyone should play it :D
 
I don't pvp to any great extent, pvp is just grind atm and as stated that sucks, hopefully WotLK will bring some new twists.

Would also agree, unless folks have a new character to get levelled for expansion (i recommend it if your bored otherwise) or are raiding frequently (4/5 MH 4/5 BT here) there isn't a lot to do thats fresh and new atm :(
