Hi all, wow used to work ok on my laptop. Havent played it on lappy for about a month i always use my PC.

Just been trying it thismorning to check AH etc. Its going VERY slow. I mean, even at log in page. I type my password but the letters dont enter untill about 3-4 seconds after ive typed it? In game my character dont move right or left untill about 5 seconds after ive pressed the keys. Its like the whole thing is on a 5 second delay.

As ive said laptop is more than enough for wow, when wow is running its using 400-500mb of ram out of my 1gb ddr2 memory avaliable. Its Dual core 1.6ghz. On board ATI Radeon Xpress 1100. This ran it ok before, on low settings with 20 something fps. But this is just stupid !

Only things i can think of that ive change recently is updated that ACPI to the multiprocessor one so i got both cores working in task manager. And did a themeux patch and changed my windows xp theme.

Any idears?

I cant help completely, but myself and my guild (on Defias Brotherhood) have noticed that although our latencies are good the game hasn't been as responsive over the last (about) 2 weeks. I dont know if blizzard have a problem, but something to think about...

I found the problem. I had installed a program on laptop called Transbar. It makes my toolbar see-through. I disabled this and it ran fine again :)

Thanks for input tho :)
