WOW mouse probs

Not sure if this is in the right catagory please move if necessary - the problem is i have just installed new drivers for my mouse Microsoft intellimouse explorer 2.0 -

i then logged onto WOW for some serious PVP action - thats when the problem occurred - the small thumb button which was hot keyed for backstab has now been replaced with magnify ??

i know you all think thats easy just change it back , but i cant , what ever i choose for the windows desktop is reflected in WOW

any answers guys ?

have you tried changing the keybindings in the mouse control panel to a different function,

i.e assign the side mouse button to a number key, then bind backstab to the same key in wow,

that used to work for games which didnt support more than mouse1/2 in the past.

Sounds like an MS mouse, you can choose to have program specific settngs if you have the driver software installed.
