Wow Patch 3.2

WoW has always been extremely easy & fast to level in, anyone who claims otherwise should try some of the older MMO's, kids of today!

It wasn't when it first came out, it took a very long time to level.

Blizzard, have made leveling a lot easier now, and all these changes are brilliant news to new and old players alike.

The irony is as someone who's never played WoW, the ideal of 'super quick levelling' doesn't really appeal to me (at least to start with), I'd want to be enjoying and experiencing all the early game content, not racing to top level and missing half of it out.

Alts vastly outnumber new players now though, hence the aim of speeding it up.

I just renewed my sub so I'm still catching up with the changes from Wrath release, but some of the changes in 3.2 seem nice. The 150% flying mount especially, as well as the fact that the training for 300 riding skill will scale down with rep (bit crap if you already have it like my main though).

The thing I'm most looking forward to is this performance increase with shadows on ultra. My system will handle everything at 60 fps maxed out except shadows :(

That's still 2-3 weeks playing 8 hours every day though. I comparison to today when you could probably hit 70 in a weekend if you wanted.

Compared to older mmos that took nearly a year to reach max level and not many people complained then =p

Like 4-5 days /played at retail :/

You could hit 60 in a weekend of solid play.
You couldn't dream of doing that when Warcraft first came out.

Making leveling easier and quicker is a good thing. Gives new players a chance to catch up and enjoy the end game.

I think all the people complaining, are complaining because they had it hard, and don't like that its easier now.

I think the record was something like 3 days, by someone AOE grinding whilst fully rested. It actually took them several months of real time for the rested bonus to replenish.

You can only get rested for a maximum of 2 levels.

I remember when TBC was released and that French guy got his mage to 70 within 24 hours by AoE dpsing with his friends/guildies
