Wow pis

These and a lot more were in an exhibition that toured a while ago, was setup in Birmingham for quite a few months, very impressive, theres a few books out called something along the lines of a view from above. A good book

Yes, the exhibit was in London, next to City Hall, during the summer of 2005. The book is called 'Earth from Above' and is amazing

Probably. no one's going to live in the dead zone around Chenobyl for another 500 yrs if they have any sense !

Wierd. I went to a Uni lecture straight after that post and my lecturer was talking about humans being destructive, then showed us a video entitled "State of the earth" by David Attenborough, all about destruction of ecosystems. That put a downer on part of my day! :eek:

It was outside the natural history museum for a while about then too, also in plymouth city centre last autumn. :)

Yes I saw these when I was in Wien (Vienna) in Mid-2004. Great photos.
 
Cracking pic of Rio above, everytime i went up Corcovado it was cloudy and never gave a very good picture of the christ statue
