Ive made a night elf hunter and found out that i can only find out how to use axes and guns in Ironforge, how the heck do i get there? Im just completing the last of the quests in Teldrassil.
 
many ways - you could kindly ask a high level mage to make a portal for you and pay them :)

get the ferryboat type thing to the otherside of the world then run to IF,

or fly there (once you've met the flightmaster in IF) - personally I'd ask about in game and see who might be heading that way and kindly ask for an escort for a fee/items or out of genuine kindness.

I wouldn't spend time out of game to ask stuff like this - the largest part about WoW is the in-game community- ask in there and make friends... (just remember to see your real life friends too! :p)
 
I wouldnt bother looking for help, itll probably take you longer to find someone that will reply than it will to get there yourself.

Its a bit of a trek, but theres some nice scenery. roughly:

- Take the teleporter in Darnassus to Rutheran Village
- Take the griffin/hippogriff from Rutheran to Auberdine in Darkshore
- Take a boat from Darkshore to Menthil Harbour in the wetlands [dont forget to pickup the griffin point here
-Follow the road east out of Menethil harbour, follow in all the way to the south eastern edge of the map and through a tunnel. You'll probably die from some crocodiles on the way but thats not the end of the world
-You will come in Loch Modan, head into thelmesar and pick up the griffin point
-Head west through another tunnel in the mountains to Dun Morogh
-Continue west on the road, about in the middle of the map after you pass Steelgrill's depot, turn north
- BEHOLD IRONFORGE!
- Pick up the griffin point in Ironforge

If you got the griffin points it should be easy to get back, you might want to take the deeprun tram to Stormwind to pick that up at the same time but thats up to you

Alternativley, if you are on Outland or Emiriss, I can escort you.
 
Get someone in Ironforge to queue you for warsong gulch. Once you get in you can just type /afk to leave wsg and you'll be standing at the battlemaster in Ironforge.
 
I'd ask a kindly mage to portal you to Shattrath City. Once there, head up to Aldor or Scryer Rise and set your hearthstone in their inn.

Then head down into the central area and take your pick of portals.

Anyone can have a HS set in Shatt at any level, makes moving around at early levels so much easier.

ace idea- I had stopped playing before burning crusade came in so never ventured there! :)
 
I enjoying starting fresh on a new server, i have no money and no knowlege of where i am - never made a Elf before and only ever made one alliance.

Although its a bit daunting seeing level 10's running around twinked to the high hills.. and me having 21 silver to my name.:rolleyes:
