I just rerolled a human priest (my main is 41 Tauren Shaman)
and I would like to know Should I go Discipline or Holy? If anyone has some gides or general info about them It is greatly appreciated. My first time as a priest so I only know Holy=Heal, Shadow=DPS, but what is Discipine? Is it a combination? Wouldn´t want to be shadow, since I kind of like healing

Discipline gives some nice buffs and when mixed with Holy can make a great healing build.

Shadow is great for leveling though and you will still be a decent enough healer for instances until you hit Outland when it becomes irritating.

Im just casual playing for fun with my mate with this alt so im not longing for lighning fast leveling, just something to do when I get bored of waiting for instances with my shaman :) Should I spend my first points to Discipline or Holy? Which one is better for early game?

Go for shadow, it's painful trying to kill things as a holy priest. I'd recommend going down the shadow tree until you get shadowform at 40, and then add in the disc talents.

That's a rough idea of what sort of talents to go for, which should be decent for pvp and pve. I'd put the first 10 points in spirit tap and blackout, and work down from there.

im a 70 human shadow priest and life is fun. best group ive i found is two shadow priests, lock, pali and drood tank for 5 mans. great fun and loads of dps. plus VE healing plus 2 off tanks with mc.

dont roll a priest and then be forced to go holy at the end. i goto kara all the time cause it makes sense i do enough healing for there to be no need for a 3rd healer and loads of dps.

but to asnwer your question go into the disc trea early if its for fun and your not going shadow. plus gets loads of plus healing plus damage gear. youll need to sets of clothes dps and healing.

Whatever you choose to spec as and whatever pace you want to level at, put the first 5 points in Spirit Tap. It'll halve your downtime and halve your drinking expenses.

If you're determined to avoid Shadow and play as a support class, the first tier talents in Holy are all pretty nice - you'd want to work down to getting -½ second off your Greater Heal cast time. In Disc, count getting Inner Focus and meditation as your 'must haves'.

There's no right or wrong answers except if you're going to level solo. If this is the case the ONLY answer is to dump everything into Shadow to get Shadowform asap.
