WOW respec, what are you going for?

Pre-patch i had this and it was good but i spend all my time on this character leveling with a warlock (demonology spec now). And the spec i did before (dics/holy) would give me good heals (useful for world pvp if you have someone else that does the damage) but more importantly high damage smite and holy fire which are a bit less damage than mind blast but dont mean i have to tank all the time. Still not sure as shadow has served me very well. How much less damage do you think i'll be doing?

It's significantly less, but I've never worked it out. With my shadow spec, I'm using Anathema and shadow form, so there's a boost straight off above any normal +damage, but I know things go down a lot easier. I don't like holy fire, as about half of the damage is DoT, so it works out at a longer cool-down than mind blast.
If you're playing with someone else, then try holy/disc and see how it goes, but tbh you really don't need it at that level.

In my experiences of world pvp (my priest has never entered a battleground), I was always attacked before anyone else, so extra healing didn't mean much.

Probably staying SM/Ruin with my lock, and speccing deeper into the Holy tree with my paladin. No more SoC, but hell, having a healer who can take a beating is underestimated a lot imo, especially if he has good gear.

I use this now, I put out a little under 1400 ranged attack power, using 8/8 tier 1 (Giantstalker), Rhok'Delar, and other roughly equivalent kit.
