wow serial code

my son's wow game is corrupted after the latest patch so i'm going to reinstall the problem is i have 2 copy's, one is on my pc and the other on my sons, i don't know which one is installed on which pc, is there any way that i can find out the serial code of the game that is on my pc.

You don't need the serial code to install, just install off either and then your son can log on as normal on his account.

Yeah, the serial is tied to the account that first used it, not to the installation.

Serials are used in registering an account only.

And you don't really need to re-install and then go through all the patching process -- if you have an up to date working install on another machine just copy the whole folder across - assuming you are networked.

Then run the program by clicking on the wow.exe or create a shortcut to it on the desktop

If your son has different addons to you make sure to try and swipe the WTF and interface folders from his install first, move yours over then put those folders back. SHOULD be like he never changed it

(tho if your getting issues it may well be something in the WTF folder anyway)
