Moving from the US to EU servers with my brother and basically looking for a server close to the UK (or in the UK) for good low latency and a good populated server. (an even balance on alliance / horde)

Any recommendations?

EDIT: Forgot to say must be a PvP server!

Oh really? a UK based server??

And so many people approving of Outland.. can anymore people vouch for this server?

I will be picking a sever tomorrow so I have until then to decide. Are many OcUK gamers on this server?

pewpew? what class are you. And we will be rolling Horde (me and my brother)

Sadly moving from US servers since the latency is terrible and times to raid are no good.

Should kick some ass and raid further than over seas

Is outland uk based???

As in physically in the uk??

Didnt think there were any uk servers.

Btw anachronos is good on both horde and alliance if your looking to roll pve ;)

I played on that server when it first went live, was on my priest called lostprophet and my mage called bewb haha. Good old times tbh, miss the people but not the game.

It's not hard to find this kind of thing out. I don't play WoW and never have, but it took me no more than a minute to find out that Outland is physically in Hamburg. There are servers in Hamburg, Paris and Frankfurt. Login servers are all in Paris. There are none in the UK.

There are no servers in the UK. They are all tied to Telia (which is Norwegian?) and hosted in Paris.

My ping's (although notoriously low anyway) are usually around 30 - 60, which is perfectly playable for WoW.

I'll just do what everyone else is bound to do and list the server i am playing on. Although it wont make a differnce which one you choose. At all. In the slightest. So Azjol Nerub *** omg.

Telia is Swedish, unless they been bought up. They just to be called Televerket but then morphed into Telia sometime in *** 80's I think...any ways enough of that...

As mentioned all European servers are in Paris, and its well known that speeds can be quite fluctuating and depending on your ISP you can have a mate next door and because you are with a different ISP your latency can be hugely different.

I used to play on two PvP realsm Deahtwing and then migrated to Talnivarr both were quite good for PvP. How ever I have now moved to Shadowsong to play with some irl mates and this isn't a PvP realm, it is part of the Cyclone battlegroup which I believe is the top battlegroup in Europe (not sure as I don't have tiem for PvP).
