WoW Token

I'm getting a little confused regarding these tokens. I see where you are coming from and this is correct as far as I can tell. But I put mine straight onto the AH soon after making the purchase so it told me the price I purchased for.

What I'm worried about is if I bought my token and put my token up for 45k. If the price of these drop below 40k before my token is actually bought on the AH. I will still get the full 45k quoted to me, rather than the 40k which someone bought it for?

Exactly... and do the token auctions "run out" and then the token gets posted back to you. If this happens then surely when you put it back on the AH its for the current AH price and not the one you were promised when you bought it.

What are they?

These are just a means for Blizzard to combat gold farmers and provide a safe environment to purchase gold.

So buy a token from the in-game store > put token onto the AH > somebody will then purchase your token from the AH using their in-game gold > they can then activate this token for 30 days subscription time and when your token has sold, you will be mailed the amount of gold your token was worth.

I don't think they run out. Doesn't it just display an average time it might take until your token is sold? It could overrun this and I think it will just continue to be listed until purchased.

Q: What happens if the price quoted to me is different from what the Token actually sells for?
A: You will always receive the gold amount quoted to you at the time you place a Token up for sale, regardless of what the current price is when the item actually sells.

So for example. You purchase a token when it says 45k. You leave it in your inventory a little while and by then the price has gone down to 43k. If you put the token on the AH at the time it is going for 43k. You will receive 43k. The only way to guarantee to get the price quoted when making the purchase, is the put it onto the AH once you receive the token.

All 3 sold now for 44,950 each... current price is now 39k! Thats a 15k diff from last night if i had waited

I am guessing it will go up one more time when people get paid next few days.

Reached a new peak recently at 47,339g and now declining again.

Them Chinese though :D.... started at 48.604g and it peaked at 73,676g. Now that would be worth the £15!

if these come down to 30k i will buy one, i make atleast 1000g a day without any effort.

If they drop to 30k ish, free game time :)

Seems like a good idea and the balance between buyers and sellers seems to be about even.

Not many people complaining i think if they'd have tried a few years ago there would have been an uproar.
