I've just been sitting awake here (2:40AM) and I heard my downstairs door handle go a few times.

I thought it was dodgy, I looked out the window and saw some guy by my door, I just went into a panic, I'm not very big so I couldn't take a burglar down or something.

I opened my bedroom and shouted to him and asked him what he wanted, he was smartly dressed and seemed a bit drunk, he said he got the wrong house, I asked him where he was after, and he just said 'this street.

He then phoned a taxi, and got in it.

I've lived in this house for 4 years so it's not a mistaken address.

He didn't even try a key, he just went straight for the door handle.

He got off in a taxi and went, and I'm left rather ******** my self. :|

inb4 cool story bro.

Seems like someone either looking for unlocked houses or a genuine drunk.

I don't think he was a thief tbh, like I say he was smartly dressed and had a mobile phone in his hand. He wouldn't of stood outside my house and called a taxi if he was a thief I recon.

Possibly very drunk...me and a friend spent a good 10 mins wondering why the key wouldnt open the lock on my door- turns out it was the wrong house...right street - just 2 doors off...

The taxi took about 5 mins to come and it was under a well known taxi firm. I didn't take down the licence plate.

Just a confused **** head, I wouldn't worry about it. But I can understand how that would unsettle you, have a cup of tea that should calm you down a little.

He was on his phone, so I guess he could have been texting on where to go for the right address or something? I now wish I went out with my ******* keyboard, that would have showed him!

It's strange how he would have come to this street though, I'm pondering over it on how he managed to get here, try the door and then get in a taxi and go somewhere else. :S

Unless he just have been given wrong directions or something... Dodgy. When I closed my curtains he kept looking at me, maybe he wants to bumrape my a-hole. :o

Is it a quiet road, or quite a busy one?
