Can't keep an interesting thread down just because they made the benchmark redundant. :rolleyes: :D

So wPrime 2.01 - available to download here: http://www.wprime.net/Download/ Please calculate to 32m.

To make CPUs easy to compare I suggest we benchmark with threads set to cover the main combinations of cores and hyperthreading. I'd suggest setting to threads to 8, 6 (in preparation for the hexacores - quad cores with hyperthreading can get in some early results now) 4, 3, 2 and 1 if available. wPrime

Please include in the screenshot your user-name and how many threads you had running for each run, plus a CPUz shot. Please also indicate your CPU and clock speed.

Before we start. Can we say have a max OC and then its just down to Ram etc ? makes it fair (ish) lets say ???? 3.6 or 4.0Ghz ? 3.6 so the AMD boys can have a go.

lol

Just thinking its more skill setting and playing with the ram/volts for a clean OC.

I get 3.748secs at same settings as wPrime2.00. 4.368Ghz
(will post a SS later)

Here we go:

Cores: 1, 2, 3

BUT.

This is performance :cool::

Cores: 1, 2

Not sure what is going on with cpu-z on that last screen shot. The speed is 1.73 GHz

No point in doing a 1.55 thread really. HWBot is pretty comprehensive for results comparison there.

Apologies for the lack of update guys. Will try to squeeze in a table and graph soon but remember it's Valentines weekend ;). Wife and son to keep happy...

Just noticed something strange. I was just running this and got 4 threads at 5.5s on a 3.3GHz deneb. Every other run has given me over 7s. Unfortunately I didn't take a screenshot.

Back in business. Leaderboard added. I'll compile some results charts when some more results come in.
