WRC8 FIA World Rally Championship Coming September 2019..

I've been playing it and found it far better than wrc 7. Graphics are good, not exceptional but good The dynamic weather is superb. Trees blowing like crazy in a storm, snow appearing the higher up a mountain you go
Using it with a g29 wheel ffb seem weak, I'll have to play around with the settings.
I did get micro stutters but changing from boarderless to full screen fixed the issue for me.
Running at 1080p on a gtx 1060.
Everything on high and a few on very high and get a constant 60fps.

Thanks for your feedback, it does seem to be getting mostly positive reviews and i believe it feels better than Dirt 2 does with a steering wheel ?

I am tempted to buy it :)
 
It feels better than dirt 2 with the wheel but probably not for the die hard true sim fans as its slightly more arcadey.
I prefer it to dirt 2 to be honest but each to their own.
 
I caved in and bought it :o and first impressions are good. i am liking the sense of speed it gives and the narrow tracks give you a more intense ride along the way, the weather effects in this are better than Dirt 2 imo trying wales in a storm is fantastic i can really imagine it being that bad.

Running at 3440x1440 /RTX 2080 with all setting maxed and graphics look good especially with dynamic weather engaged.

Off to play some more just wanted to post my view ITS defo a step up from WRC 7.

Glad your enjoying it, the weather effects are fantastic, really adds to the atmosphere.
I've found it a huge step up from wrc7, it's a lot more polished and the graphics are sharper.
Can't wait to get some hours under my belt, the football is getting in the way!

Makes all the difference that I'm playing it on a 90inch projector with a play seat and g29 :)

not necessarily as I thought they were given a guaranteed amount of sales/£ as part of the exclusivity deal with Epic. So if they only sell 10 copies they're quids in.
