As it was nice yeterday me and the wife decided we would go for a drive yesterday, we have something to collect, so it made an excuse to go out. Where we were gong was Wales, what turned out to be a nice drive out - turned into a nightmare and a matter of minutes.
While going onto a Narow road, I cant remember the extact speed , but Probably doing more than what I should, we turned a slight corner, suddenly lost control straight into a stone wall. Thankfully no injuries only the car.
So the damage is
Front wing (Passenger side) heavy damage
Front bumber - scuffed
The wheel is bent,
also looks like the wheel / suspesion has been forced back into the wheel arch.
Doesnt appear to be any damage to the bottom sills or door.
The not so good part
When the car went into the wall, engine lights came on, engine does not start, when we tried to start it, there was a nasty burning smell coming from somewhere. Ive no idea what this is?
Car is a 206 HDI with just under 70K on 53 plate. Any idea on wither this is fixable or likely to be written off.
Sorry I have no pics yet, I had to leave the car in pitch black was in the middle of nowhere
