Writer Clement Freud dies aged 84

Broadcaster and former Liberal MP Sir Clement Freud has died aged 84.

A statement from his family said Sir Clement had died on Wednesday evening at his London home.

I will miss his mournful voice and wonderful use of words in the long running Radio 4 show "Just a Minute"

Another great character lost. I still remember the Minced Morsels ads fondly. And he's the last of the 'old guard' from Just a Minute to shuffle off (Parsons doesn't count!)

My Aunt & Uncle used to live next door to him years ago, I did see him one or 2 times going in & out of his house. My Uncle said he was a nice bloke.

I remember him distinctly in Dog food adverts way back in the 70's.
