Hello.

When I try to write the file to disc it seems to say that Windows encountered a problem to copy this file.

It gives me the option to Cancel or Retry.

I have tried retry, it just keeps coming up with the same error message.

Any ideas?

Sorry but what exactly are you trying to do? Have you downloaded a W7 ISO and are trying to burn it? If so then you'll need a DVD and use ImgBurn to burn the ISO to DVD.

Could be you puter needs a nice new OS installed Try another burning application Ashampoo perhaps - OR if all else fails put the immage on a 4GB USB stick and boot from that!

Hi.

I managed to get it onto a disk. I then downloaded the 32-bit version to try on my laptop.

Now, I am pretty sure that it was the 32-bit disc that I put onto my laptop, but now I can't login.

It shows the choices to enter the bios then the screen goes blank and it blurts out some garbage that msconfig could not find sytem 32 file or something. I can't get any further.

Any ideas on what to do?

Thanks for all the help and advice so far.
