Wrong Tax Code?

Glad to hear it!

When i phone tomorow should i phone the wrexham tax office(the one on my payslip) or should i phone the number posted in this thread?

Just to add that i had sent away for a tax return.....but got a letter back asking for my proper NI number(they quoted a 2 number 1 letter 5 number thing for my NI number on the letter) from the tax office! :confused:
 
Well i spoke to a lovely guy who took all my details and where i worked etc.....will sort the tax code for this year and i will be paid back ~£250 i have paid this year. The other two years i have to send my p60 away which i had before,to be sent a P91 which i sent back. He said he will review that aswell.

It wasnt till today that i noticed my actual national insurance number is wrong on my pay slips. :( I fail at life. He said i have to take that up with my company though......but if they have been pain tax on the wrong NI number for me then my proper NI number will she me as paying zero tax :confused:
 
Well I have been on tax code BR for last 7 months, basically its like your being taxed on two jobs.

Currantly, when ever I try to get it sorted they wont deal with me because other than my name and address being right on the system, my records dont match up with what I tell them, so i've either worked jobs I didnt know I was working, or someone has stole my identity lol

They wont even change your tax code?

I assume you filled in a P91 and sent them that aswell?
