Received replacement 6600 GT RMA today!
I bought it from the MM but didn't get the chance to use for very long before having to RMA it (don't ask!).
Anyway I took out my Radeon 9500 Pro which I previously figured was perfect image quality wise on the desktop. I use dual desktop with 2 x Mitsubishi 22" SB230SB CRT running at 1600x1200 @ 85 Hz.
I get the 6600 GT up and running and at 1600x1200 @ 85hz it's like WTF? It's so clear and vivid compared to the Radeon that I'm actually stunned at the improvement in the picture quality.
Anyway enough ranting, figured I'd share my delight especially compared to past NVIDIA experience with the old GF4 TI cards.
Anyone else notice it or am I suffering from placebo?
P.S. Hope you agree with me 'cos I'm 99.99% sure it's not placebo effect!
