Finding it very worrying!

Just ignore it as its a false reading from a sensor thats either not there or not speedfan compatable:)

The 11.19v reading on the 12v line is a bit low though :( Might just be an inaccurate reading though.

SpeedFan is known for weird readings, see even here (2nd screenshot, -48°C)

Though, as mentioned +12V reading is low. It shouldn't go lower by more than 4%. Shows poor & or failing PSU = could damage your components :( Counter check with BIOS reading just to be sure/safe.

Use common sense to ignore and uncheck the temps that are far too high or low, its unused Sensors, just verify the real ones with your Bios, and as for volts, Speedfan never reads Asus Mobos 100% correctly for volts so Im told.

Alo sign up to the beta as you get builds many times newer and lots of readings now work on the current Mobo's.

Also look at the Vcore, what have you got it set to in bios?

.Either major droop
.Set low in bios
.PSU Problem as per the 12V+ rail

I would get it checked out, what psu is it?

It's not speedfan, any monitor software that can pull off temps from the mobo directly will find this Aux temp - it's just an unused sensor and is a known "item" :p just disable it in the software you use and worry no more!

The latest Speedfan beta build has more accurate voltage readings too btw so I recommend updating.

Its a corsair HX620, the other guys posted screenie shows it lower.. what does it mean, got me worried now!

Thanks for the quick replies guys, I'm paranoid about my new build. Of all the stuff the psu came across as the highest quality in my build, I went with corsair cos they have such a good rep, so I'd be suprised if it was doa though I guess it happens sometimes. My cpu temp is really nice I have to say I'm v impressed with thermalright extreme - 26 idle in bios. I wish I was brave enough to do some lapping I guess then the cores would all be on the lowest temp

If your system starts crashing then take notice, if it does not then just pass it off as a fart :p

I've had my fair share of system "no boots", bsods and DOA hardware - in fact these days I just let out a quiet f word if something goes funbags up (rare but on occasions due to ocing or something) and then set out to do some tinkering behind the heavy P182 side panels (usually a cmos reset) resolving the issue :p

this is my first premium build, I was especially scared about the vga cooler, can't believe it all came good without any hitches
