Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Mavin!, old Scooby Doo, etc etc.

The new tom and Jerry Tails are a load of garbage,

Apart from the storyline in new cartoons its the colour and drawing, its lost atmosphere, the colour is too bright and clean, its bland to watch.

Agree completely. I could watch old Road Runner, Tom and Jerry and Bugs Bunney for hours! Recent Tom and Jerry is balls, not that I watched kids TV...

I love the subtitles. The sound quality is too poor to make out exactly what they are saying but the words I can catch don't actually correspond to what they are saying, lol.

Me and the fella were watching the old X-Men cartoon this morning on CITV (up far too early for a Sunday morning!) used to think it was amazing - to watch now, dear lord. The animation was not the best!

Modern cartoons are crap compared to the oldschool 80s, remember transformers, visionaries nothing touches them these days. Even the soundtracks on the cartoons were bloomin awesome.

theres not enough actual artist drawn cartoons these days.
It's all cg, even the 2d stuff is computer done. it all looks too perfect. The object is rendered and animated and then the camera angles are sorted.

7 Zark 7 was put into 'Battle of the Plantets' to edit out the more violent parts. He would explain what happens rather than having kids watch it. Much like the whole Tenage mutant ninja turtles name change.
