Anyone know of any large events where you get to see tanks, etc in action? Sort of like those civil war re-enactments but with tanks and large vehicles - so a bit more manly :D

Hopefully one that Contains King Tigers and normal Tigers. There just the best even thou there German ;)

I assume that you must be German then as you like THEIR tanks and have such difficulty with the English language. ;)

The War And Peace show is the biggest re-enactment event in the country, but that was about a month ago. Make sure you get tickets for next year.

Turns out the guy next to me at work is part of the re-enactment scene!! Random, but true.

For this interested in seeing tanks n stuff the best is apparently the "Military Odyssey" at Detling and then the "War and Peace" show. Both are in Kent and are on next year. Already been and gone this year :(

Next event this year is in Yorkshire in Pickering where the town dresses up as WW2 or something :S All a bit confusing to me! Not looking to join in dressing up but wouldnt mind seeing the armour!

The best tank killer of them all

i would have thought that the second world war was still a little too raw in some peoples minds to be doing re-enactments of it.
