Have been keeping an eye on this and it looks like its out in just over 2 weeks.. I am not really interested in the newer games but this has a great lineup of some fantastic legends and most of my favs are in there :)

Howard Finkel (Announcer), Andre The Giant, Animal, Arn Anderson, Bam Bam Bigelow, Big Bossman, Big John Studd, Bret Hart, Dusty Rhodes, Greg Valentine, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Hawk, Honky Tonk Man, Hulk Hogan, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Iron Sheik, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Jimmy Hart, Jimmy Snuka, Junkyard Dog, Kamala, and King Kong Bundy. Koko B Ware, Michael Hayes, Mr. Perfect, Mr. Fuji, Paul Bearer, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ted Dibiase, The Rock, and Ultimate Warrior.
Undertaker, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, British Bulldog, Brutus Beefcake, Jake The Snake, Nikolai Volkoff, Ravishing Rick Rude, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Sgt. Slaughter, and Yokozuna.

Suprised to see the Ultimate Warrior in there tho...

Unfortunately a lot of them are not with us any longer so bringing them back in this form is fantastic...

I'm also keeping an eye on this, I'll be interested to know if it plays the same way as the SVR games as IMO the series really has gone down hill since the PS2 days

Sounds cool but will probably play terrible. I guess they stop recreating wrestlemania matches after WM2001? Since HHH is in it and the only WM match I can think they would put in this is the one he had with Taker in 2001.

cant wait for this, playing as the wrestlers I grew up watching like British bulldog and Ultimate warrior.

Hope you can do the rope shake :D

Another nice feature is that if you have SVR 2009, you can import all the wrestlers from that into this game.

Think its meant to play pretty similar aside from looking more cartoony, so SVR '09 Char vs a LoW Char will look strange, but will sill be a very nice thing to have!

Damn shame there was no Owen Hart :(

No HBK ? :(

edit, somehow missed him in the list :p

Looks good. "yeeeeeeeeeeeessssss" in best Paul bearer voice :p

The line up looks interesting, some greats from my childhood, wonder how the game will play, didnt like svr 2008, too many bugs & glitches spoilt the game, didnt bother with svr 2009. Anyone know if we'll be getting a demo?

I saw a video on GameTrailers and it seems a lot more arcadey. There are trying to make it more accessible then the SvR games according to the developers. I remember seeing a fair few QTE style moments in it.

Edit - As Robert says.

how hard would it be to implement 2 different kinds of game play controls like a button bash fest for people who like that but a more sim option for people who prefer that?

I've been dying for this game so I could relive playing with my childhood heroes :o - However someone mentioned QTE's...that is enough to make me tell the game to GTFO. I HATE QTE'S! :(

Looks like it could be good, I would prefer a version with just wrestlers from the Attitude era. Two obvious names from that era are Mankind and Kane, who don't feature in this game.

Hopefully they do a late nineties version at some stage - when for me, wrestling was at it's best. :)

Just realised.. No Randy Savage.. :(

Pity they didnt put Owen Hart and Brian Pillman in as well.. :(

Vince hates Savage with a passion. :p Savage has talked a lot of trash about steph over the years. Although, Vince has no problem making money off of Savage by putting out dvds and not giving a dime to Randy himself. lol.

Because a simulation wrestling game would be horrible? A sim wrestling game would have to be olympic wrestling and not pro wrestling. Yawn.

I think a "WWE Legends Of The Attitude Era" game would sell like hotcakes. Its easily the best era of wrestling!

Interesting nostalgic appeal. Haven't played last 3 WWE games though.

Saw Royal Rumble last month or whatever, just imagining what an awesome 30 man Royal Rumble line up you could make from this game!!

Agreed. Even from the above list just using Rock, HHH, Stone Cold would easily encompass some of the best Wrestlemania matches, EVER.

Well it looks like this will be THQ last WWE game and really what I have seen doesn't look like anything special they appear to of just given sd vs raw 09 a work over with the legends nothing more.

I will be glad to see some one else have a try WWE games have been very stale for many years now.

Will be trying this demo tonight then! Bit of Jake the Snake versus Sgt. Slaughter ;) Awesome!

Shame the mountie isn't on there though :/
