I was unloading in a very narrow lane. Had just closed the boot and popped in to tell my wife I was taking the car further up the hill to park it. Returned to see this guy attempting to squeeze past (which was possible). He misjudged it and scraped his off side along my front nearside. Caused probably £200 of consmetic paintwork scratches. I ran after him, whereupon he parked up and got out. When challenged he claimed it was my fault for parking in such an awkward place and refused point blank to give me any details whatsoever of his name, insurance company etc etc. Nothing I could do. It isn't worth reporting to the police or getting repaired (as I don't intend to sell the car for a long time), but very annoying. Moral of the story is that I should have blocked the narrow lane completely whilst unloading...
