X Box 360 compared to PC Graphics

The 360 does one thing much better than the PC: non-native resolution scaling.

It has an inbuilt hardware scaler, something that no PC graphics card has. The end result is that it can render at a lower resolution than a TFT's native and (as long as the image has antialiasing) it comes out smooth looking. The PS3 and PC only do software scaling and it just doesn't look as good.

This is great for developers, as they can set the resolution to whatever is required to run the game at a decent framerate. The end user chooses the resolution for their display and the 360 spits out a nice looking image at a playable framerate. Genius.

If graphics cards had a feature like that they might last us longer, so it's probably not in the manufacturer's interests to include it.

wheres the monitor, keyboard, mouse, opertaing system, case???

Case? Unneeded, who needs a case? You just need a psu and a screwdriver or whatever metal to turn the mobo on.
Monitor, kb, mouse - From your normall internet pc? Who doesnt have a pc ?
Also not everybody buys an OS... There are less legal sources to get an OS...

I can say the same for 360:
You forgot to add a TV, speakers, etc...

Just doesn't count as everybody already has a pc and a tv...
All you need is a cheap upgrade set for pc's...

Anyways is there any PC VS ps3/360 comparison pic of CoD4/ Bioshock/ Oblivion/ etc, so I can show my mates that a pc is actually a lot nicer. They seem convinced their 360's and ps3's look nicer than my G92 GTS .

I had a 360 and got rid in favour of my PC, i now have a PS3 wich is going the distance in favour of my PC.
luckily on both counts of the consoles i didnt layout for either (gifts) but they dont to me warrant the space they take up, my PC out plays them both and in the respects of sessions with mates i talked them into quick sales of there consoles and investmants made into PC's.
Now if we want a session we get a few beers, don the headsets and have some real fun and games the likes of COD4 and extreme cases call for lan nights.
if im that depressed and depraved i actually have to see my mates hideous faces to have a laugh and a bit crack we go out for a drink so atleast we are all drunk to stomach the ordeal :D
consoles even if up to the standerd of current pc's still wouldnt hold my attention just because of the nature of them and the limitations they hold on hardware.

I mean come on after we bought our games if we wasnt waisting money on pointless upgrades from this gts to this gt and so on we would just spend out money on more drink so really PC's are saving our lives :D

I find it's just that with PC gaming, I find myself taking it a little more seriously (on reflection that sounds incredibly sad) than console gaming, but with console gaming I can just sit in a comfy chair or something, controller in hand and just play.

I like quite a lot of genres of games, though, including but not limited to in kind of a rough order of 'like': platformers, FPS, 2D fighters (such as Guilty Gear, brilliant series), rpg, puzzle games, and arcade-a-like games such as burnout.

Then again I kind of grew up on platformers and fighting games but only more recently have I been getting into FPS and RPG games.

People saying PC online play is better than consoles. Have you actually used Xbox Live? Its rather good :)

Also the 360 makes a pretty good media center which I also use mine for.

Xbox live is god awful, firstly its not free which is a bit of a joke, secondly most games use matchmaking, which is slow, clunky and irritating, thirdly half the time you're subjected to prepubescent teams "smack-talking" through the game and finally it seems to flake out quite regularly. Awesome.
