The pop-up was a typo error, according to what people are saying on the Steam forums. The news items and store adverts both say £2, which I gather should be the correct price for both w/e X-Com and FF deals.

I remember that, good old times where you could grab a hex editor, open a saved game file, change a few values and pow, more money you could shake a dead alien at.

I remember opening up XTGold to edit the saves to max out squad members as well at one point

Just bought it, as although i've still got the first three (on original floppies for UFO defence!), I don't have a floppy drive on my machine, and can't remember where I put the discs for the others

Not that, there's some glitch to do with making a base that gives you 255 of everything (or some things) so you can just sell loads of it, found it out by accident when I was younger. Looking for it now.

I'd assumed becuase it was $2, someone thought it would be a pound. But then the publisher wanted to keep it a 2 units, whatever the currency.

Either that or whomever typed it made a mistake.

UFO-enemy unknown is the first of the x-com series but not found in this pack. You can however find it on free download from quite a few places (legit)
