X-Factors' Nikitta: First performance outside of the X-Factor

Here are some images from Saturday night (09/12/06) where Nikitta performed in her first gig since being voted off the X-Factor a few weeks back.

I have sent off some images to some newspapers, so cross your fingers for me that they get published

One and two are not bad. Not many people are going to know who she is from those pictures though. Do you have front on image of her performing?

No.1 is very nice.

Think these might be a hard sell though as she's not a top drawer singer.

2 is especially good. The first has too much hair. The balance feels off. I would have framed more of the mic with her head more to the right.

Guess she just isn't a big enough story to sell. :confused:

I thought now days with anyone being on tv getting called a "celebrity" I thought they might buy this one.

Lolz yea, shes more of a celebrity imo now than some of the gimps on 'Celebrity get my out of here' lolz

#2 is very good and it's a shame that you've not heard anything back yet

However I think you might have approached this in the wrong way:

If it were me in your shoes I would have been inclined to do the following:
- Had a list of publishers/contacts prepared well in advance of the gig
- Informed your contacts that you would be shooting the gig well in advance
- Offered your services for free to get that 'foot on the ladder' and to get to know the key people in publishing
