x fi sound problems

i vejust formated my pc and have got vista ultimate 64 and an xfi platinum.

i installed the latest drivers from creative and all goes well, i restart then its like the drivers havent been installed. in control panel sound options speakers arnt showing. ive tried reinstalling a few times but get the same.

can anyone with this setup tell me what drivers your using?
or anyone know what i should do

i just installed some beta drivers which have worked but im still having problems, if i test the spearkers from control panel they all work, but winamp will only play through the front 2 speakers

anybody any ideas? windows allows me to set it to 5.1 but every program i use only uses the 2 front speakers

nevermind i went back to home premium x fi must have problem drivers for ultimate
