Hi i have X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro and have Tritton AX PRO Dolby 5.1 new ver. I bought the break out box so i could get 5.1 with optical, also had to get ddl and dts connect.
The problem is am getting Crackling Noises and popping also when in game its like the sound is on a loop but the game plays fine and does not crash. I have tried changing the card to another pci slot no joy and moving my graphics card to another slot but same thing ive installed win 7 32/64 and no joy but heres the thing i have install xp pro it works in 5.1 no problems but then cant play bf3.
No matter what i try with win 7 nothing works i have went thru this forums and google and it seems there is meant to be a problem with pci and sandybridge. Will i have to buy a pci e sound card to get it working with no problems its a bit of a pain in the ass tbh i have been trying for days and no joy at all.
