Seen this the other day, i walked out feeling pretty disappointed, it just felt like a really long episode with the supernatural/religious aspects almost as an afterthought so not 'feeling' like X-files at all to me. Anyone else seen it?

Saw it this afternoon and really enjoyed it, was an xfiles nut when the series was on, and not only did I enjoy the film, it was also a great way to get a Mulder and Scully fix for the first time in ages.
:)

knip you are a geek boys dream.

That's ok I always go on my own to the cinema, nothing wrong with it, plus saves someone nettering in your ear the whole time... providing some of your friends do that. My mate started using his phone mid-film, I nearly bludgeoned him to death with my coke.

Yeah ive done it before, plus no one nicks yer sweets! :D
There were only about 8 people in the cinema as I went in the middle of the day, about 3 of those were people on their own like me.

My X-files buddy moved to Coventry years back, or we'd have gone together, it was always our usual natter on the school bus in the mornings after it had been on.

Ok let me retract and change my earlier statement... you are the nerd-boys dream. :D

I saw it, nothing really supernatural about it to me apart from the priest, I suppose I was waiting for ghosts and aliens and stuff.

after many, many seasons, hundreds of stories and 10 years since the last film, I was very disappointed with what I saw.

So much potential and so little return and I was a big x-files fan :(

X-Files got pants on the later seasons, and Scullly just became annoying in her blind refusal of possible unexplainable events.

Nah Scully wouldn't believe a alien is thrusting away, probably say "oooh I was drugged" or some other pap.

Do aliens even thrust away? I imagine thay have some form of very clinical metallic-unknown-substance tube that they extend from some weird alien impregnation device that then enters the Scullgina and extends yet another thin metallic cyylindrical pat containing alien mn-milk. Hell, I have it on good authority that aliens evolved to the point where they no longer need weenies, they just save time and secrete it in small sacs in their fingertips.

However don't take the above as gospel.

I have experienced this. Although I've never been on my own.
