Is anyone planning on getting the new X-Men game tomorrow for the 360? I really want something new to play and fancied picking this up but can't find much info on it really apart from the IGN previews.

Just wondered if anyone had any other info on this or was planning on buying it.
 
I was wondering about getting it because hardly any games have been released lately...

Im in the same boat as you i dont know what its like...

Im gonna have a browse on ign or gamespot again...
 
Saving my money for either Hitman or Table Tennis (probably Hitman) the following week.

X-men games have never appealed to me.
 
its a movie based game, so is likely to be a bit pants - however xmen are pretty cool.

Im hoping there will be a demo first

Same, both look pretty good, and I've always enjoyed Hitman games. Might get that and treat myself to Gun as well for getting my new job.

Gun is pretty cool, something fun about hitting people with hatchets, obviously it isn't quite as good on the 360 but.......
 
I had a play of Xmen 360 in Gamestation yesterday and I wasn't very impressed. To be honest the graphics just looked like a high-res PS2 game with some extra lighting effects. The gameplay wasn't wonderful either, just running around tonking people... It was a level with Wolverine so presumably there is some variation to the game but if it's essentially that all the way through then we've seen it a million times before.
 
I really want to get it, but I can't as money won't allow it, nor will coursework. Hopefully come June 2nd I will complete loads of games, sell them on and buy Hitman and X-Men as I really want both.
 
Never realised you were in Leeds Davey, Id been in Leeds for a while before moving back up this way. Congratulations anyway :)

Next game for me is Hitman I think. Is realised on pay day so think I might treat myself :) Will see what the opinion is of Table Tennis once people start to play it and make a judgement form there, but for £25 it seems rude not to :P

Still got COD to play through and Tomb Raider, so got enough for the time being really but Hitman looks good.
 
Congrats on the job.

People are saying on the xbox forum they finished it in 6 hours and then took a second day to get a 100% save. So not really worth £40, probably a rental.

Also looked the achievements, the last one is tragic...

"This Achievement is awarded when the player profile accumulates 950 achievement score."

So for getting to 950 you get 50 more :D
 
Bah well I'd ordered this with Gameplay just after I posted this thread this morning, I read the review and decided to cancel but it was too late. Now I can either send it back unopened or play it and sell it on.

I'll probably just play it and flog it on ebay.
