X ring or O ring?

My rear sprocket is starting to show signs of wear and the chain is a bit rusty so I'm going to replace them

Should I

a) buy a cheap no-name O ring chain and sprocket kit for £69.99

b) buy a cheap no-name X ring chain and sprocket kit for £79.99

c) buy a DID X ring chain and sprocket kit for £89.99

Since the difference is £20, personally I'd go the DID. It may be false peace of mind but it's still peace of mind.

Never buy cheap spec/unbranded chains, they won't last the distance especially on something with a bit of power. Imagine how much damage a broken chain could do to you and your bike.

Stick with DID, Regina, EK, Tsubaki etc. Those cheapies will probably be "Donghua" or some other poor quality Chinese brand.

seeing the named brands aren't much more I see no reason to get to a no name version
