According to the instruction manual using a VGA input it would be able to do 1:1 pixel mapping.

BTW what I am planning to get is a Samsung LCD with a PC Input and HDMI. I also like the Sonys.
 
or flog it and get a 7600GS - It would still be able to play most games at 1366x768 pretty good.
 
Eek, do you really hope to cool an x1800 xt silently?

The x1800 xt is defintiely the better card than the 7600gt, but i have so say i was ipressed by how much less power the 7600gt used than my x800gto2. It was something like 50W less under load and about 9W idle. I believe the x1800xt uses a lot more than the x800 too :O he 7600gt would defintiely be the easier one to cool silently even if the stock cooler is bloody noisy

Hi,

I will be using a Seasonic Power supply 430W. I hope it will be ok.

For the noise business, that is why I bought an Accelero X2 to keep it quiet. Mind you from all reviews I heard I read that the fan on the 7600 is also noisy.

Anyway at first I will use the stock cooler. Then if I find that it is annoying I will place the Arctic Cooler X2. The thing that is worrying me as you correctly said is that it would void my warranty.
