X1800XT and X2 @ 2.7GHz 3dMark 06, Check score please

I would say considering the oc on yourprocessor that is about 500-1000 points too low for what that system should be scoring.

I am not 100% however.

What does it score in 05?
 
I get over 4k with my X1800XT at stock and with my CPU at 2.5GHz so i would say yours is a bit low considering the faster CPU speed. Also i think dual core cpu's achieve higher scores than single core's in 3d06.

Just for reference, my CPU score is under 1000.

EDIT2: what res should i be running it at? im running at 1280x1024

06 will run @ 1280x1024 by default unless your monitor can't display that res.

03 and 05 will run @ 1024x768 by default.

but yeah, generally with 3dmark, comparing to other people you want to run default settings, res etc. and make sure you aren't forcing on AA/AF in your drivers.
 
05 score looks a bit low. I get around 10k. The 03 result is also slightly on the low side as i get around 17k.
 
They look rather low, especially the 06 mark. I'd have though that 5.5k would be more than attainable with your set-up. In fact I think I broke 4.1k with just a single core CPU and a 7800gt.
 
What have you got the quality settings set to in the ATI drivers?

You might have it all set to max whilst the results you are comparing to aren't
 
i just re-done the 06 test and i got 4147

EDIT: i set the quality to optimum performace to get those results
 
Well some people on the forum dont have much of a life so they decide to check the image size of my sigs !! :p

hmmm your 05 score is too low considering your oc on your processor (should be going on 9.5 - 10k tbh)


You don't by any chance have v sync on do you? It does seem hamper the scores by around 2000 points depending on the card in question.
