X1800XT and X2 @ 2.7GHz 3dMark 06, Check score please

well in the quality bit i have a slider for perfomance > quality the last 06 score i got was on performance

For a virtually identical setup and bench scores see my sig.

The wierd thing is, the 01 score is way more than my older rig that has a 939 4200+ @ 2.6ghz and an x1900XTX which only gets 25k

4206 with some strange effects

I had exactly the same effects on that test with my x1800xt, not sure if its to do with the new 6.7 cats???? Is that 06 score with the card stock or clocked??? Just I get 4350 with mine clocked to speeds in sig using the CCC. My cpu score will also be loads lower in 06 than yours with mine being single core.
Just checked, my break down for 06 is as follows

SM2: 1928
SM3: 1954
Cpu: 1094

Total: 4347

05 = 9706

03 = 17941

what effects can overclocking my card to your speeds have? its the same card

Should be ok, just use the slider is the CCC and change it in there and run 3dmark or some games and check for artifacting. If you get any just lower the clocks a little but you should be fine. It will give you a nice boost over the stock speeds.

why is my card producing such low results?

EDIT: your sig says 2.7Hhz not 2.7GHz

EDIT2: overclocking my card and its at 80'C idle

Cant see it being a problem. I don't use ati tools to control my fan speeds and using the original cooler so its all at stock on the cooling front. Right now mine is idleing at 54'c so heat isn't an issue for me.

Will just be with your card running at stock and others running clocked. Your scores look fine for stock speeds.

edit

Whats your card clocked at StevenG?

That temp seems a bit to high for an idle temp, unless you have put it stupidly high.

Just noticed his edit. 80'c @ idle is too high. Don't think i even hit that when gaming with mine clocked.

Core Clock 711 MHz

:D

Nice thought that score needed a high clock to go with it. Water by any chance??
