x1800xt in crossfire....

Just curious as to how everyone thinks the x1800xt 512 in crossfire would fair now with the new drivers etc. I've been given a very attratcive price for the Mastercard and could pick up another 512 xt no problem im sure.

Do you think this could be a fun crossfire setup to mess around with?
Also what kind of PCI-E lanes will it require....like both 8x or would 16x + 4x be enough?
