X1800XT not working with my monitor.

Hey fellas, today hasnt been a good day at, i get my new monitor this morning plug it in, and my gfx card died, i went out and bought a X1800XT, plug it in, plug the monitor in, and i get a no signal input as soon as the windows loading screen goes......i can see bios and stuff like that fine, but loading windows it just goes black with no signal input....i need help fast.

using an akasa power supply, i think the 460 one

Try hitting F8 just after the post screen to bring up the Win XP boot menu....then choose boot up in vga mode and see if that will allow you to boot with picture. Then, setup the video card resolutions and reboot, load drivers etc.
