I found going from a x1800xt 256 to a x1900xt 512 wasn't a big leap. As said already, 10 fps increase seems about right. Much cooler and quieter though if you go for the HIS.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. Aye, sounds about right. I noticed a huge difference going from X1800XT 256MB to X1900XT 512MB but that would be more down to me going from S754 Athlon64 3400+ to Core 2 Duo E6300 @ 3GHz really.ugly ferret said:I found going from a x1800xt 256 to a x1900xt 512 wasn't a big leap. I should also add my 3400+ was OCed to 3900+ speeds, it was an old CPU but definitely no slouch. My E6300 beats it into a quivering and bloody little pile of goo on the floor though.ugly ferret said:I found going from a x1800xt 256 to a x1900xt 512 wasn't a big leap.
