As title says really, i have checked in ati tray tools and when i play games the 3d clocks don't kick in they are still set on the 2d clock speed, i left the gpu/memory graph on and when i came out of the game they hadn't gone up still on the 2d speeds.

I did try the 6.10 beta's but now on the omega 6.9's but its the same anyone got any ideas.

I think its more likely ati tray tools aint picking the switch over, i realize when i minimise the game it probs show 2d speeds but the graph for ati tray tools for the gpu and memory stay at constant 2d speeds no matter how many games i start and exit.

I noticed my fps in bf2 are hitting 100fps so i guess ati tray tools just isn't picking up the switch over, i find it hard to belive i could achieve that on 2d speeds, 1280x960 4xaa+high qual adaptive, 16af high quality, max settings on bf2.

Yeah could be that, i cant see yer being able to hit 100fps either at 2D speeds. :)

Id run the 3D mark proggies to see what you get, and to see if they are about the right scores for your rig. :)

Yeah good idea that ill run them, was nice thinking though wow my card is only running at 2d speeds its going to fly more when i sort it out.

best way to test is to use rthdribl since it launches in a window and with tray tools you can see if the clock switchover has happened. works for me all the time.
