X1900Xt and Nforce 4 board problems??

I have had problems with my X1900Xt and was told from a well known person that although thses cards work they are not as 100% compatable as Nvidia cards on these mobos (A8n SLI Premium etc)
Not heard this one before anyone else?
 
I did wonder. I always like to keep an open mind. I "cant" say who said it but..... They tried to get me to replace my X1900Xt with an Nvidia 7800 card :( I said that is a lower spec card than mine. But obviously needed to check on here any issues with these boards.

Oh well we can't all be perfect all of the time :)
 
ive just installed a Connect3D X1900XTX in my Asus A8N SLI Deluxe board, not tried any games yet, everything seems fine except for the asus spash screen right at the start of booting up, its all multi coloured :p but windows seems fine
