Howdy ppl!

Been using the HIS ICEQ3 X1900xt with my Samsung TFT (digital connection) without any issues. I was previously using stock drivers and today installed the omega drivers. As soon as I finished installing and restarted my pc, it stopped detecting the video card. I switched to my onboard card and completely uninstalled the omega drivers and reinstalled the stock drivers but no luck. It however works perfectly with an Analog connection but as soon as i connect the digital connection the screen just blanks out. Any idea why this is happening? im really hoping that my graphic card is not buggered...

cheers!

bump... anyone??

the troubleshooting shows that the frequency might not besupported... but then how is it working perfectly on analog? tried the tft on multiple systems but no joy.. anyone know how to change the frequencies?

Right click desktop, Properties, Settings, Advanced, Monitor, its probably the refresh rate, change it using the Analogue to say 60hz, or to a refresh your TFT supports Apply it, then try the DVI again. :)

Could be the lead.

hmm... well i could always try a different lead but it seems like a long shot since all these problems started cropping up right after i messed around with the omega drivers... anyways ill give it a try...cheers

well tried a different lead.. no joy... im beginning to think that the monitor's buggered... but it works perfectly on analog and i cant notice much of a difference with regards to the picture quality especially in gaming... anyone got a clue regarding the main differences between analog and digital ... i really dont wanna shell out any more cash to buy a new tft just because this one isnt working on a digital output...

cheers

Shouldnt be much difference (on some TFT monitors there arent any differences) between using the Analog or DVI connections.
If all is well using the Analog connection, keep using it.
