In the local PC shop today and he had an unused Sapphire X1900XT-X for £175. He said a bloke bought it but bought an AGP motherboard so instead of buying a new motherboard he bought a new graphics card and was unable to return this. So it's three or so weeks old and hasn't been used.

Good deal?

Wonder what the dude was smoking/taking for him to buy an AGP mobo ?

Even more so, why send back the graphics card? Surely it would make more sense to buy a PCI-E motherboard...

Doubt it, why would a pastry shop be selling x1900xt-x's ? Although I did hear he'll soon be given away a free G80 with any croissant bought on a Thursday.

Edit - Told ya so.

:D
