X2 3800 (AM2) Overclocking

thay do metal work for projects and other things so thay got the big and small cutting machines to make it all i need to do is give him the numbers (bring my mobo and heatblock) he get it done in less then an 1hr

be back tomoro (friday with my new water plate that screws on to it)

i am going to use the coolmasters trident as i give up trying to get the coolmastesr 6mm/10mm pipe fitted to the 6mm/7mm connector kit on the TK water block

one thing i found intresting on the coolmaster it has Self Stopping connecters that plugs into the tank/pump unit so when i unplug the pipes and the front unit stays sealed quite cool heh

u can afford SLi and u are still on stock cooler?!?!?!?!!!

Don't worry I am awaiting the arrival of Titan Amanda. It will be a pain to fit but things will be nice and cool in early October!!

There has been a lack of AM2 coolers around you see so I have been fairly patient waiting for a decent option to come along. No water cooling though far too dear and messy imo.

yeah.. it can be messy from times to times.. but well worth it imo

anyways.. that giga heatsink will serve you fine.. and true.. winter is on its way

How's everyone been getting on with the overclocks?

I seems pretty stable at 2.5Ghz, just need to get my mem running faster now!

the coolermaster AQUAGATE i got some one to Make an plate for me and i used screws that are thread half way to stop them from been screwed to far and it was an perfect so there is Even Wight on all sides of the custom plate and even better i use the AMD back plate that was there so i did not need to take me mobo out

just an update as asus have made an new bios for this m2n32-sli delux it has removed the beeping errors when setting CPU past 2.41 (241mhz) now stable at 2.5

i book mark this as well or print the setting you told me to change the chip set settings

Your BIOS looks the same as mine Jpe20 by reading your settings, do you know where the ram dividers are? or it the Memory Frequency option does the same thing? you might know this aswell leex

i lowered the ddr from 800 to 667 so it not been overclocked i that thats what the ram divider is
