WHEN and IF my system arrives (Damn FSP and their PSU deliveries. Ordered it almost a week ago and they still aint arrived!), I was wondering if I should expect any OC'ing out of my X2 4200 and Asus A8R-MVP?

I aint bothered if I won't be able to get any coz even without it's still a fairly huge step up from a K7S5A and an AMD XP 2000 :p

Should get a reasonable clock out of it. Not sure what the going rate for a 4200 OC is but as it's a Venice core then probably 2.4-2.5 on air.

I have my similarly cored 3800 running at 2.2 on air no problems. I do need a better cooler though to push it more but the board I'm certain is capable of at least 2.4.

That board has a history of problems but they occur at higher voltages which your not going to hit without either an older CPU or hardcore cooling. I'd be VERY surprised if you don't manage a minimum of 2.4.
